Mary's Babies is a play about fertility treatment pioneer Mary Barton, who used her husband's sperm to impregnate up to a thousand women, and then burnt all the records. The play is an interesting exploration of what it means to be donor conceived.
After the show on 27th March, there will be a Q&A focused on the modern landscape of donor conception and the experiences of donors, recipients and donor conceived people. This will include Nina Barnsley (DCN director), Charles Lister (Chair of the Sperm, Egg and Embryo Donation Trust) and Mary’s Babies playwright Maud Dromgoole.
The organisers have been kind enough to offer DCN members a greatly discounted price of just £10 per ticket. Use the code Donor when placing your order to claim your discount.
