This is where we will post any vacancies for trustees, staff or volunteers.
This is a really exciting time at DC Network as the charity is growing and developing. We will be celebrating our 30th anniversary in 2023 which provides a great opportunity to raise awareness and funds, as well as mark our achievements.
We are currently recruiting two more trustees and are particularly looking for someone with a finance or accounting background. It's a great time to contribute your skills and expertise and help shape our future at this critical moment.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated people, with a commitment to the aims of the Network, to join us as Trustees. Applicants should support fertility treatment and donor conception in general, and appreciate the value of openness in families. You might have personal experience and knowledge of infertility issues, including donor conception or surrogacy.
We are interested to hear from applicants who have worked on committees, boards or as trustees, and particularly with experience of any of the following
• Financial management and/or accounting
• Human resources
• Communications and social media
Trustees normally meet 4 times a year in a central London location and may occasionally meet formally on Zoom at other points through the year. They communicate mainly via email and Zoom Meetings are held during the working day, normally on a Friday afternoon. Due to the nature of its work and funding there is an expectation that Trustees will contribute actively to the work of the charity. Trustees will receive reasonable out-of-pocket expenses.
How to apply
Details are here and an information pack containing a role description and personal criteria can be found here.
Your covering letter should describe your interest in our work and the contribution you can make, and provide examples to demonstrate how your experience meets the personal criteria in the information pack.
Applications close 9am 31st January 2022. Interviews for shortlisted candidates will be held early February. Final decisions will be made soon after and the appointment will formally start after the AGM on 23rd April 2022.
